Interesting company I keep at Amazon

So I was clicking on to Amazon to see how my sanctions book was selling. Then I notice this part of the page:

Customers who bought titles by Daniel W. Drezner also bought titles by these authors:

Amartya Sen
Joseph S. Nye Jr.
Niall Ferguson
Bob Woodward

I have no explanation for this -- except for Nye's latest book, I don't think I've cited or discussed the other authors in either the blog or my research. I just thought it was good company to keep.

Comments:

Mine was linked to, of all people, Michael Moore. This probably means nothing to you, but if you knew who I was and what I was writing about you would have the same reaction to the company you keep.

And Whoo-Hoo! I'm rated higher than you by almost 150,000 (probably meaningless given that books in our range sell about 1 per month and the rankings probably are arbitrary -- though not apparently alphabetical since my name comes after yours).

I clicked through and got Globalization and it's Discontents by Joseph Stiglitz on that list as well. An interesting book, but not exactly the sober view you might expect from a Nobel Prize winner. Well, regardless of views you are least sharing space with two Nobel Prize winners. Now if only the searches for their books would link back to you.
