That's one fragile marriage

The most interesting sentence I read this week comes from Slate's "Dear Prudence" column:

I know of one marriage that collapsed on the honeymoon because the couple got in a power struggle over who would be responsible for the one room key they were issued.
Whereas, in the case of my marriage, it was the minibar that almost did us in. Not.

That's the one you noticed? What about the woman who broke down a spreadsheet so that when her kids stepsister is with them she doesn't have to pay for the stepsister. I'm fairly appalled.

For us, it was the canoe trip up a river in Kauai on our honeymoon. Differences over how fast to row the boat--not a bad preview of the arguments down the road, or, I guess, the river.
